Welcome Message From The President

On behalf of Hydro One Brampton Networks Inc., I would like to welcome you to our website.

Hydro One Brampton is a subsidiary of Hydro One Inc. and is part of the Hydro One Inc. family of companies. We are responsible for the safe and reliable delivery of electricity to more than 131,000 homes and businesses in the City of Brampton.

As I assume the role of Hydro One Brampton's new President and CEO, I would like to take this opportunity to offer my best wishes to Roger Albert, our recently retired President and CEO, and congratulate him on all of his successes throughout the 22 years he has been with Brampton Hydro/Hydro One Brampton. Roger has seen the utility through many changes, and his accomplishments have been significant.

Hydro One Brampton has reached what seemed at times like unreachable safety milestones, achieved a greater satisfaction from our customers, attracted the enormous respect of our industry peers, and has been recognized again and again in the community for our fund-raising and sponsorship endeavours.

Hydro One Brampton is the City of Brampton's sole supplier of electricity and as the utility's new President and CEO, I intend to maintain our position as one of the industry's top ranking utilities; a definite challenge in these economic times but one made easier by the heart and soul of its hardworking and extremely devoted employees.

On a personal note, I have been a resident of Brampton since 1981, and in addition to my 20 years with Hydro One Brampton, I have been an active member of my community for several years as a Professor at Sheridan College (Davis and Oakville School of Part-Time Studies) and volunteer on numerous community boards, including the Board of Directors for Brampton Safe City and the William Osler Health System.

As I take over in this position, I look forward to meeting the challenges that lie ahead, and to continue to offer our customers the excellent service at the lowest possible cost, that they have come to expect from their electricity supplier.
