The Regulatory Charges portion of your bill includes:

Wholesale Market Service Charge- Covers the cost of services provided by the Independent Electricity System
Operator where power is bought and sold.

Rural and Remote Rate Protection- Paid by all customers to offset the higher cost of providing electricity to
rural and remote areas of the province.

Standard Supply Service Charge- This is a fixed charge of 25 cents per month to cover the administrative
costs incurred by Hydro One Brampton to provide electricity to customers who have not contracted to purchase their electricity from a
licensed electricity retailer. This applies primarily to consumers on the Regulated Pricing Plan (RPP).
