Conservation Programs for Businesses
There are many programs and incentives available to help businesses better manage their electrical consumption, improve energy efficiencies,
and reduce the impact their energy use may have on the environment.
Hydro One Brampton can also give advice that can help your business understand how it is using the electricity it pays for. This may include
upgrading to newer technologies in lighting and HVAC systems within the building envelope, right-sizing equipment such as motors and compressors,
or shifting the load of energy-demanding equipment to a less expensive time of day.

Electricity Retrofit Incentive Program (ERIP)
The Electricity Retrofit Incentive Program provides incentives to businesses who are considering
upgrades to their facility lighting, motors, heating, ventilation and air conditioning and/or overall electricity systems.
This program is designed for businesses with a monthly electricity consumption of 50 kilowatts (kW) or more. |
 |
Power Savings Blitz
The Power Savings Blitz offers incentives for lighting and water heating retrofits to small businesses
whose electricity usage is less than 50kW of demand. Funding of up to $1,000 is provided for the retrofit, with an opportunity to pay
costs over the $1,000 limit, at each business' discretion. |
