Electricity
The Electricity portion of your bill represents the electricity you consume in a one-month billing period
and the price you pay, depending on who is supplying it to you. Hydro One Brampton customers have the option of buying the electricity
you use through the Regulated Pricing Plan (RPP) where prices are set and regulated by the Ontario Energy Board, or you may purchase
your electricity through an energy retailer.
|
NOTE: Hydro One Brampton does not make a profit on the price of electricity.

The meter reading information under the Electricity section includes the meter identification number, current
reading date, current reading and the previous reading. The difference between the current reading and the previous reading equals
the kilowatt-hour consumption for the billing period. The consumption is then multiplied by the loss factor.
