The Regulated Pricing Plan

Residential, Small Business and Designated Consumers
(on the Regulated Pricing Plan)

The Ontario Energy Board recently announced new electricity prices for the winter months, from November 1, 2009 to April 30, 2010. Residential consumers under the Regulated Price Plan (RPP) will pay 5.8 cents per kilowatt hour for the first 1,000 kilowatt hours used in one billing month, and 6.7 cents per kilowatt hour consumed above the 1,000 kilowatt hour threshold in the same month.

Non-Residential, Small Business and Designated Consumers

These prices will also apply to non-residential consumers who are eligible for the RPP, but their threshold will remain at 750 kilowatt hours per billing month throughout the year.

NOTE: Prices will be reviewed by the OEB and may be adjusted every six months.
